Cricdb stands for Cricket Database; the aim of cricdb is to gather all cricket related news and information at one place. This includes, but is not limited to, international cricket but also full coverage to local / club cricket of Pakistan.
Cricdb.com is founded and developed by Umar Farooq Kalson in 2003, a computer science student, who also has played club and zonal cricket in Pakistan as a wicket-keeper batsman, and has also played for private companies in UAE as a specialist batsman, although played club cricket for Muslim Gymkhana Lahore - Pakistan - which is run by former International Cricket Umpire Mian Mohammad Aslam.
Cricdb.com mainly developed to provide IT services to the cricket association of Pakistan, through which they facilitate itself with the international exposure, however earlier in 2007, Cricdb was re-launched with a completely new look and lots of new features in it, which includes news, fixtures, results, bulletins previews of international one-day and Test cricket and features by competent journalists.
